Camp Margaritaville Motorhome Rental Near Tavares, FL

When we plan a camping trip, we look for a place where everyone in the family can have a great time. Camp Margaritaville Resort & Cabana Cabins in Auburndale, Florida, checks that box for us. It has the space and comfort we want at our campsite, plus enough activities to make the campground the main event of our vacation.

We’ve stayed at plenty of campgrounds, and Camp Margaritaville is one we’re always excited to visit again. The sites are spacious, the grounds are clean and well maintained, and there’s an easygoing resort atmosphere that makes it feel like a getaway as soon as we arrive.

Room to Settle In and Stay Awhile

One of the first things we appreciate is having room at our site. When you’re camping with kids, outdoor chairs, and all the little things that come along on a family trip, space makes a difference. We can settle in, enjoy our campsite, and still be close to everything the resort has to offer.

That combination is what makes Camp Margaritaville work so well for a weekend or a longer stay. You can spend a busy day exploring the resort, then head back to your RV for lunch, a break in the air conditioning, or a quiet evening together. You get the fun of a resort vacation with your own comfortable space to return to.

So Much to Do Without Leaving the Resort

Our kids never have trouble finding something to do here. There’s a water park and pool for Florida afternoons, mini golf when we’re ready for a little family competition, and playgrounds where the kids can keep playing after they’ve dried off. The resort also has multiple dog parks, which makes it easier to include our four-legged family members in the trip.

We love that we can decide what kind of day we want without making a big plan. Some days, we’re ready to go from swimming to mini golf to another activity. Other days, we take it slow and enjoy being together at the campsite. Both feel like a vacation.

The Green Is Our Family’s Favorite

One of the biggest reasons we keep coming back is “The Green.” It’s an area with planned activities for kids throughout the day, and it brings so much energy to the resort. Depending on the day’s schedule, our kids can enjoy bounce houses, gaga ball, soccer games, obstacle courses, and more.

As parents, we love seeing them find something new to try and make friends along the way. They can move from one activity to the next, and we don’t spend the afternoon trying to answer, “What can we do now?” It’s the kind of place where the kids start asking about tomorrow’s plans before today is even over.

Easy Meals and a Little Adult Time

We enjoy cooking at the campsite, but we don’t always want to make dinner after a full day of activities. That’s when the on-site snack bars come in handy. My personal favorite is the pulled pork nachos. They’re one of those treats I look forward to whenever we return.

And, of course, there’s the tiki bar. It’s a fun spot to slow down, enjoy a drink, and have a little adult time while you’re on vacation. Those conveniences make the trip feel easier: we can eat when we’re hungry, relax when we’re ready, and spend less time figuring out what to do next.

A Great Place for Reunions and Retreats

Camp Margaritaville is also a great choice when you’re bringing a group together. Whether you’re planning a family reunion, a company retreat, or another group getaway, there’s plenty for people of different ages and interests to enjoy between scheduled activities.

Fireside RV Rental held its corporate retreat here two years in a row, and the service was excellent. Having the resort cater our meals made planning easier and gave us more time to spend together. It’s a place we’ve enjoyed both as a family and as a team.

A Great Base for Exploring Central Florida

There’s enough at Camp Margaritaville to keep us happy without leaving the property. But if you want to add a day trip, Auburndale is also a convenient home base for exploring Central Florida. Both Tampa and Orlando are roughly an hour away, depending on your destination and traffic.

That gives you options. You can plan a day out and come back to the campground in the evening, or you can skip the drive entirely and enjoy another day by the pool. We usually find that the kids are just as excited about what’s happening at the resort.

Let Fireside RV Rental Set Up Your Stay

You don’t have to own an RV to experience Camp Margaritaville. Fireside RV Rental Tavares can deliver and set up a travel trailer or fifth wheel at your reserved campsite. All you need to do is arrive, unpack, and start enjoying your trip.

Reserve your campsite directly with Camp Margaritaville, then share your dates and site details with the Fireside team. We can help you choose a rental that fits your family and the site you’ve booked. If you’re organizing a reunion or retreat, ask us about RV rental options for your group, too.
